The Soft bookcase in Smoked Oak takes the form of an
architectural wall in which structure, material and light create
rhythm and depth. The structure recedes until it disappears
into the surface, allowing an essential sequence of vertical and
horizontal lines to emerge. The Soft shelves introduce a natural
material presence, defined by their rounded edges, whilst the light,
provided by integrated spotlights hidden from view, illuminates
certain vertical compartments, revealing the surfaces, intensifying
the material and amplifying the depth of the space.
La libreria Soft in Rovere Fumo si configura come una parete
architettonica in cui struttura, materia e luce costruiscono ritmo e
profondità. La struttura arretra fino a scomparire nella superficie,
lasciando emergere una sequenza essenziale di segni verticali e
orizzontali. Le mensole Soft introducono una presenza materica
naturale, definita dal bordo arrotondato, mentre la luce, affidata
a faretti integrati e nascosti alla vista, interviene in alcuni vani
verticali, rivela le superfici, intensifica la materia e amplifica la
profondità dello spazio.
