Cédric Ragot’s work has been commended
as among the most innovative in his gene-
ration. A busy yet ever-available designer, he
was curious, endearing, strong-willed and
talented. He refused to be catalogued, as his
creativity depended on jumping from one
subject to another, thus creating synergies
that fueled the next project. His ability to
match creative imagination with innovative
technical solutions gave rise to furniture and
objects that often combine biomorphic
shapes with cutting-edge materials.
