La finitura Marea nasce da una brunitura artigianale: il
ferro viene immerso più volte in una soluzione acquosa
e tamponato a mano, strato dopo strato, fino a creare un
effetto unico.
Il processo in due fasi dona prima una calda tonalità
ramata, poi sfumature fredde e dinamiche, come onde
che si infrangono sulla lamiera. Il delicato degradé
ricorda il mare che avanza, bagna la spiaggia e poi si
ritira, lasciando la sabbia bagnata come memoria del
suo passaggio.
The Marea finish is born from artisan burnishing: the
iron is repeatedly immersed in a liquid solution and
hand-padded layer by layer to create a truly unique
effect.
The two-phase process first gives a warm coppery tone,
then cool, dynamic shades, like waves breaking on the
surface. The subtle gradient evokes the sea advancing,
wetting the shore, then retreating, leaving the sand
glistening as a memory of its passage.
