sofas—
"Loving what you do. This is the most important push,
together with the desire to continually get involved, not to
settle for, to broaden horizons.
I wanted to learn a job and when I was a boy, I apprenticed
as craftsman upholsterer. I learned everything of this work.
An armchair or a sofa is an object that I build from start to finish.
A comprehensive approach, mine, original compared with
the today’s splitting up of production phases. But it is precisely
this knowledge of the product as a whole that makes me
more confident, which continues to excite me and that
makes me understand market dynamics, how important is
innovation, how a technology may be valid and decisive.
With the pleasure to discover after so many years of work
experience how much more I can still experiment and grow
with Bodema."
