Rosa Splendiani nasce nel 1969 in Italia, nel cuore delle Marche, in un la-
boratorio dove legno, giunco e rattan arrivavano dall’Indonesia per tra-
sformarsi, intreccio dopo intreccio, in nuove forme. In quel ritmo delle
mani, in quel viaggio di materiali e persone, abbiamo imparato il senso
della cura e dell’autenticità. È lì che è nato anche il nostro rapporto con
l’Indonesia: non come opportunità commerciale, ma come relazione
costruita passo dopo passo.
Oggi il cuore creativo dell’azienda è la Rosa Creative Room, un luogo
dove le idee si guardano, si toccano, si provano. Qui le proporzioni ven-
gono misurate, le palette testate, le texture immaginate; qui nascono
prototipi, campioni e finiture. Non inseguiamo l’effetto del momento:
cerchiamo ciò che rimane.
La nostra storia continua attraverso una filiera che unisce Italia e Indo-
nesia. In Italia prendono forma i concept, i prototipi, le finiture; qui cu-
riamo controllo qualità, logistica e le lavorazioni più tecniche — cerami-
ca, microcemento, tappezzeria, tessuti. In Indonesia, invece, lavoriamo
accanto a laboratori che custodiscono da generazioni il sapere del teak
e degli intrecci in rattan, poi evoluti verso polywicker e corde tecniche.
I materiali sono la nostra firma. Selezioniamo teak di origine controllata,
corde con cromie proprietarie, alluminio verniciato a polvere, ceramiche
e microcementi rifiniti con cura, tessuti scelti per durata e sensazione
al tatto.
La qualità non è un dettaglio: è ciò che permette agli arredi di attraver-
sare gli anni, dentro e fuori casa.
È così che nasce il nostro design: linee che resistono alle mode, propor-
zioni capaci di trovare equilibrio in architetture differenti. Arredi, stili e
cromie che vivono con naturalezza nel residenziale, nelle ville private,
nelle case contemporanee, ma anche nei progetti contract, negli hotel,
nelle lounge e negli spazi dell’ospitalità.
Per noi la longevità è doppia: materica ed estetica.
Per questo “In, Out, Anywhere” è molto più di uno slogan: è la nostra
pratica quotidiana. Da oltre cinquant’anni progettiamo arredi estetici
e solidi, autentici, leggibili. Oggetti che accompagnano la vita con la
stessa naturalezza con cui sono nati.
Rosa Splendiani was founded in the heart of Italy in 1969, in a workshop
where wood, cane and wicker from Indonesia were shaped, weave after
weave, into new forms. In that rhythm of hands, materials and people,
we learned care and authenticity. That is where our relationship with
Indonesia began—not as a commercial choice, but as a bond built step
by step.
Today, the Rosa Creative Room is the creative core of the company: a
place where ideas are observed, tested and shaped. Here we study pro-
portions, palettes and textures, and develop prototypes, samples and
finishes. We don’t chase trends—we focus on what lasts.
Our supply chain connects Italy and Indonesia. In Italy we develop con-
cepts, prototypes and finishes, and manage quality control, logistics
and technical processes such as ceramics, microcement, upholstery and
textiles. In Indonesia we work with workshops that have preserved teak
craftsmanship and traditional weaving—now evolved into polywicker
and technical rope.
Materials are our signature: controlled-origin teak, proprietary-colored
ropes, powder-coated aluminum, carefully refined ceramics and micro-
cement, and textiles chosen for durability and feel. Quality is what allows
our furniture to endure, indoors and outdoors.
This is how our design evolves: lines that resist trends, proportions that
fit different architectures, and aesthetics that move naturally between
residential spaces, private villas, contemporary homes, and contract or
hospitality projects.
For us, longevity is both material and aesthetic. “In, Out, Anywhere” is
our everyday practice: for over fifty years we have created solid, authen-
tic and readable furniture—objects that accompany life with the same
naturalness with which they were conceived.
