The Soft bookcase takes the form of an architectural wall in which structure,
material, and light create a continuous spatial rhythm.
The “C”-shaped structural uprights are fully integrated and concealed within the
metal back panels in Moonlight Dust and Marmo Appennino. The structure thus
disappears into the surface, transforming into a minimalist sequence of vertical
and horizontal lines.
The Soft shelves in Noce Canaletto ARC introduce a warm, natural material
presence. Their rounded profile echoes the geometry of the Soft door and
establishes a formal continuity that runs throughout the entire project.
The lighting creates a theatrical atmosphere. The light, provided by integrated
spotlights hidden from view, selectively illuminates the vertical compartments.
The upward and downward light emission generates luminous variations that
enhance the depth of the surfaces and the material presence of the stone,
defining a sequence of light and shadow.
