plasmare
Die casting: metals to be
shaped
Attraverso il processo della pressofusione, i metalli fusi
prendono forma, anzi forme complesse. Una procedura
antica di fonderia, che risale al 1800 e che ancora oggi
permette ad Alivar di forgiare l’alluminio in strutture
resistenti, come quelle dei tavoli, o dettagli funzionali
all’arredo, come i piedini.
Through the process of die casting, molten metals take
shape, complex shapes indeed. An ancient foundry
procedure which dates back to 1800 and that Alivar
continues to use to forge aluminium in resistant
structures, namely those of tables, or functional details
for furnishings, such as the feet.
