The Storage cupboard programme by Arik Levy, which is compatible with all of Vitra’s office furniture systems, has a simple and logical construction. The cabinets and sideboards come in different widths and heights, can be combined and supplemented, and offer different kinds of storage spaces that are easy to configure, assemble, modify and disassemble. One critique of open space offices is often that they lack noise insulation. With this in mind, Vitra developed highly effective acoustic fronts, which have been proven to decrease noise levels in office spaces and therefore facilitate concentrated work.
