(it) / Composing è il terzo capitolo di un percorso che
non cerca e non ha mai cercato l’effetto, ma la sostanza:
proporzioni, equilibrio, materia. Come ogni nuovo
capitolo, anche una nuova collezione deve innovare
introducendo nuove collaborazioni, nuovi materiali,
nuove possibilità di espressione.
Cristina Celestino e Sebastian Herkner, due autori
affini all’identità di Carpanese Home, oggi rappresentano
questo, nuovi linguaggi che sanno dosare la
contemporaneità senza perdere profondità. E la storia —
non come nostalgia, ma come consapevolezza — diventa
il collante più importante per definire il presente.
Le location di questo racconto per immagini
non fanno eccezione. L’Archivio Storico del Policlinico
di Milano e la Villa Borsani, un luogo di memoria
e una casa-museo. In quest’ultima sono passati artisti
e progettisti visionari, da Fontana a Pomodoro, da Ponti
ad Aulenti… un luogo che ancora vibra di una qualità
rara: quella di un passato capace di generare futuro.
In questo contesto, i materiali della nuova collezione
Composing diventano una dichiarazione. Il legno tinto
nasce per ampliare l’offerta del marchio e portare una
nuova sintesi: dare colore a una superficie autentica,
materica, viva. Non coprendola, ma lasciandola emergere.
Il metallo utilizzato come segno accessorio e preciso
che definisce, risolve, aggiunge tensione. La ceramica:
il materiale che fa vibrare il colore attraverso superfici
naturalmente irregolari che raccontano il processo
e l’artigianalità.
Composing è questo: continuità e crescita.
Una matericità consapevole.

that does not seek and has never sought effect, but
substance: proportions, balance, materiality. Like every
new chapter, a new collection must also innovate
by introducing new collaborations, new materials, new
possibilities of expression.
Cristina Celestino and Sebastian Herkner, two
designers whose work resonates with the identity
of Carpanese Home, represent this today: new languages
capable of expressing contemporaneity without losing
depth. And history — not as nostalgia, but as awareness
— becomes the most important bond in defining
the present.
The locations chosen for this visual narrative are
no exception. The Archivio Storico di Milano and Villa
Borsani: a place of memory and a house-museum.
The latter has welcomed visionary artists and designers,
from Fontana to Pomodoro, from Ponti to Aulenti…
a place that still vibrates with a rare quality: that of a past
capable of generating the future.
Within this context, the materials of the new
Composing collection become a statement. Stained wood
was conceived to expand the brand’s offering
and introduce a new synthesis: bringing colour to an
authentic, tactile, living surface. Not by covering it,
but by allowing it to emerge. Metal is used as a precise,
accessory sign that defines, resolves, and adds tension.
Ceramic: the material that makes colour vibrate through
naturally irregular surfaces that reveal the process
and craftsmanship behind them.
This is Composing: continuity and growth.
A conscious materiality.
