Bob è la collezione di sedute in legno di faggio, disegnata da Park per Billiani,
che reinterpreta in chiave contemporanea l’idea classica della sedia a slitta.
Protagonista del progetto è il telaio continuo che ne definisce la struttura: un segno
netto e riconoscibile che disegna il profilo della seduta e ne determina carattere
e postura. Linee essenziali, proporzioni calibrate e volumi pieni costruiscono un
equilibrio di grande pulizia formale. Lo schienale ampio e leggermente arrotondato
dialoga con la seduta piana che con soli 39 cm di larghezza, garantisce comfort
e funzionalità. La collezione comprende sedia e sgabello, con sedile in legno o
imbottito. Fedele alla filosofia di Billiani, Bob valorizza il saper fare artigianale
attraverso lavorazioni accurate e giunzioni precise.
Bob is the collection of beechwood chairs designed by Park for Billiani, which
reinterprets the classic idea of the sled chair in a contemporary key. The dominating
feature of the design is the continuous frame, a clear, recognisable touch that
defines the shape of the chair along with its personality and posture.
Minimalist lines, balanced proportions and full volumes come together to create
balanced and clean formal clarity. The wide, gently rounded backrest engages
in a dialogue with the flat seat, which at only 39 cm wide guarantees comfort
and functionality. The collection comprises a chair and a stool, with a wooden or
upholstered seat. True to Billiani’s philosophy, Bob celebrates skilled craftsmanship
through precise joinery and careful workmanship.
