VERO one-off table
Prima di ogni lavorazione, a fare la differenza nel design di Vero è l’osservazione
– del tronco, delle sue forme, delle caratteristiche delle tavole che da esso si ricavano.
La suggestiva irregolarità che caratterizza i bordi del tavolo è allora la memoria esatta
dell’albero da cui esso trae origine: l’intervento umano è espressione del rispetto
e della valorizzazione di quelle forme, attraverso l’attenta e delicata
eliminazione della corteccia, la valutazione di nodi e fiammature, l’unione
delle due tavole gemelle attraverso speciali asole brevettate, realizzate
a mano su misura. Per tutti questi motivi, ogni tavolo Vero è un pezzo unico.
La conoscenza della materia prima e la capacità di valorizzare le caratteristiche
espresse da ogni singolo albero permettono ad Arte Brotto di proporre Vero anche
nella versione Vero Compact, unione delle tavole di legno massiccio ricavate dalle
sezioni più esterne del tronco, di larghezza inferiore rispetto a quelle della sezione
centrale, ma caratterizzate dalla stessa, altissima qualità. Un’altra, straordinaria
versione dello stesso identico concetto.
Before any workmanship, what makes the difference in the design of Vero is the observation – of the trunk,
of its shapes, of the features of the boards. The irregularity that characterises the edges of the table represents
the memory of the tree from which it originates: human action is an expression of respect and enhancement of those
shapes, through the careful removal of the bark, the evaluation of knots and flaming, the joining of the two twin
boards through special patented joints, handmade to measure. For all these reasons, each Vero table is a unique piece.
The knowledge of the raw material and the ability to enhance the features of each individual tree allow Arte Brotto
to offer Vero also in the Vero Compact version. A union of the solid wood planks obtained from the outermost
sections of the trunk, smaller in width than those of the central section, but featured by a very high quality. Another
extraordinary version of the same concept.
