Ferro | Iron
Materiale nobile, il ferro è un metallo lucente, tenace e
malleabile. Anche il ferro, come gli altri metalli, viene
sottoposto a un processo di anticatura che crea segni
caratteristici sempre diversi su singolo pezzo, che ne esaltano
l’identità. Nelle lampade destinate all’uso esterno, il naturale
processo di ossidazione continua nel tempo, conferendo al
materiale sfumature rossastre.
A precious material, iron is a shiny, tough and malleable
metal. Like other metals, iron undergoes an antiquing process
that creates characteristic marks on each piece that are always
different, enhancing its identity. With lamps intended for
outdoor use, the natural oxidation process continues over
time, giving the material reddish hues.
Rame | Copper
Il rame è un metallo molto duttile caratterizzato da una
tonalità rossastra. Come gli altri metalli, è sottoposto
a un trattamento di ossidazione accelerata attraverso il
quale acquista una finitura anticata. Nei prodotti outdoor
l’ossidazione continua nel tempo in modo naturale: il rame
assume sfumature marrone scuro per effetto del sole e della
pioggia, verdi quando esposto all’aria salina delle località di
mare.
Copper is a very ductile metal featuring a reddish hue. Like
the other metals, it undergoes an accelerated oxidation
treatment that gives it an antique finish. With outdoor
lighting products, oxidation continues over time in a natural
way: copper acquires dark brown nuances from the effect of
the sun and rain, and green overtones when exposed to the
salty air of seaside locations.
Ottone | Brass
L’ottone è una lega di rame e zinco dalla particolare
colorazione dorata. Sottoposto a un processo di ossidazione
accelerata, una lavorazione totalmente artigianale tramandata
all’interno della famiglia, acquisisce una particolare
sfumatura che definiamo anticata. Nelle lampade da esterno
l’ottone, sottoposto ad agenti atmosferici e salinità, è
destinato ad acquistare nel tempo sfumature più o meno
accentuate e sempre diverse.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc with a distinctive golden
colour. It undergoes an accelerated oxidation process, a
totally artisan process handed down within the family, and
acquires a special shade that we call antique. For our outdoor
lamps, brass, subjected to weather conditions and salinity, it
is destined to acquire more or less enhanced shades over time
that are always different.
