Design Naoto Fukasawa, 2010
Leise, stimmig, mit feinsinnigen Details. Für sei-
nen Entwurf hat Naoto Fukasawa das Thonet-ty-
pischste aller Materialien verwendet: massives
Holz. Entstanden ist ein Programm, das wie aus
der Zeit gefallen scheint, so archetypisch-uni-
versell sind Form und Bauweise: ein einfacher
Holzstuhl, auf dessen Gestell eine ergonomisch
geformte Sitzfläche ruht, und der über eine
bequeme Lehne verfügt.
Gestell Massivholz. Sitz und Rücken ungepolstert
aus Formsperrholz in Buche gebeizt oder Eiche,
alternativ Sitz und Rücken mit Strukturlack in
unterschiedlichen Farben. Oder Spiegelpolster
nur für Sitz oder für Sitz und Rücken, alternativ
vollumpolstert. Bezüge Leder oder Stoff.
Calm, harmonic, with subtle details. Naoto Fuka-
sawa used the most typical Thonet material for
his design: solid wood. The result is a program
that seems to have fallen out of time with its
archetypal-universal form and construction:
a simple wooden chair with an ergonomically
shaped seat resting on its frame and a comfort-
able backrest.
Frame solid wood, seat and backrest without
upholstery made of moulded plywood in stained
beech or oak. Alternatively seat and backrest
with structured coating in different colors, or
partial upholstery for seat only or for seat and
backrest; optionally fully upholstered. Covers in
leather or fabric.
