The screen with console-shelf Shoji by LucidiPevere is a functional and gentle furnishing object able to customize the different corners of a home. “Shoji is a hybrid object, an essential wooden structure framing a textile and stretching it thanks to a small supporting shelf”, the designers explain. “It’s an unique textile screen, half a partition- element, half a shelf. Shoji fits into the Zanotta tradition made by unique objects with strong personality. It can be described as a wall moving within a domestic space and useable in different ways: as simple screen to achieve some intimate atmosphere (taking advantage of the sound absorbent property of the fabric), as a coloured surface contrasting the home furnishing or as a small desk to be set anywhere. Abstract presence with a few essential lines, Shoji can easily change its look depending on the fabric colour used, therefore it can appear minimal or figurative.”
The frame with console-shelf is made of solid natural oak or black painted, with a multilayered panel and a non-removable wool fabric.
