HANDLING AND CARE
VONDOM covers are impregnated to resist water, oil and dirt, functioning to protect the furniture.
They are not recommended as a permanent cover for cushions, as moisture may collect and lead
to the formation of mold stains. Furniture and cushions should be thoroughly dry before using the
covers. Please note that the covers are especially tailored to your furniture item and precise place-
ment is required. In order to increase the circulation of air and avoid the formation of condensation,
the covers are not made to floor length. Never pack or fold covers that have become wet; instead,
let them dry in a well-ventilated place. Use a soft cloth and warm water to clean the covers, using a
gentle upholstery cleaner if necessary. Rinse with clear water. Solvents are not suitable for cleaning
the covers as these are aggressive to the surface and may cause damage and discoloration.

INSTRUCCTIONS_ Planting Instructions
- Set a fine layer of about 2 or 3 cm. in deep of expanded clay on the base of the self-watering base.
- Add the vegetal soil for plants in the flowerpot, leaving space for the root ball of the plant.
- Planting the plant in the flowerpot, previously aerating the roots in order to favour its growth. Finish
filling the flowerpot with vegetal soil & press down on the soil with your hands to make it perfectly
compact.
- Water the plant on the soil. In the following weeks, please water the plant over the top as the roots
of the plant have not reached the platform layer of the self-watering apparatus yet, where the water
tank is stored.
RECOMMENDATIONS
After this period of adaption for the roots, fill the water tank until the top very slowly until the indica-
tor reaches the maximum level. If there is no water, the indicator will be at the minimum level, check
the indicator level regularly. The period of watering depends on the flowerpot size, plant type and its
location. Consult it with a professional in the sector.
INDOOR (White Led and Led finishes)
For indoor use, need to check if the stopper of drainage is placed before planting the plant.
OUTDOOR
For outdoor use, please take off the stopper of drainage (Light and Led finishes) and drill the holes
at the indicated mark, bearing in mind the position of the water tank (Basic, Self-Watering and Lac-
quered ) and also in the base of the flower pot, so that if it rains, the water overflow will evacuate
and not harm the plant.
If you cover the soil with a fine layer of stones, it will stop the moisture from evaporating and improve
its aesthetic appearance. For fertilizing and better care of your plants, consult your gardener or your
garden centre. VONDOM, accepts no responsibility for any damage done to the plants caused by the
incorrect use of flowerpots.
