his ambition of disseminating the importance of

Karim established his private design studio in
New York City in 1992. He expanded his global
reach with a studio in Shenzhen, China in 2014.
In his spare time Karim’s pluralistic practice flirts
with art, fashion, and music and is determined to

virtual landscape.
Gabriele Buratti (1962), architect and professor
of interior design at the Facoltà del Design of the
Politecnico di Milano, and Oscar Buratti (1967), ar-
chitect, have founded the architecture and design
studio BURATTI ARCHITETTI.
The studio is transversally involved in projects
of different scales, from the architecture of build-
ings and urban areas to interiors, from furniture and
product design to exhibition and showroom design,
in an intense and varied professional path, in which
themes, locations, brands, people, materials and
workmanship mingle together contaminating one
another.
They design residential, commercial and indus-
trial buildings, they carry out projects in historical
city centres and refurbishing measures of building
complexes, they design villas and interiors of work-
ing, residential, retail spaces, in Italy and abroad,
with the aim of combining culture with professional
specialization, experimentation with technique and
an original vision with a high standard quality.

work
has
always been rich of cultural references. Their
projects are derived from observations of change
in human be-havior. Their mission is to generate
products that merge function, innovation and
longevity – intimate and emotional connections
that last.
“We believe that good design already exist in
a sort of collective unconsciousness and our task
is to mold and deliver them”. A truly successful
piece of design must feel fresh but not
unfamiliar when it is discovered.
In 2003, José Manuel Ferrero founded estudi{H}
ac to give life to all the ideas that appeared un-
ceasingly in his head and in just 16 years he has
turned his design workshop into a national and in-
ternational reference. The passion he puts into his
work is evident from the very beginning. Discreet,
cultured, elegant and immensely creative, for Fer-
rero design is a way of life that keeps the mind fully
active in terms of creativity.
We could say that the British term “bespoke"
is the dogma that governs each of the Valencian
businessman's designs, as he creates pieces and
elements tailored to each project.
