An attitude with deep roots, an instinctive tendency that cannot be attenuated or reg-
ulated: the clear, precise attraction of the concept of contamination for Visionnaire is
constantly perceptible, acting on multiple levels, condensed in a field of only apparently
antithetical but actually complementary forces. For Visionnaire, belief in the benefits that
can be derived from any form of contamination means assuming an attitude of intense
listening and active proposition at the same time: because while on the one hand a spon-
taneous taste for hybrids corresponds to an ability to be open to all stimuli, of any nature,
to absorb and be permeable to all input arriving from the outside world, on the other it is
synonymous with an opposite movement, that of spreading one’s range of action through
an approach of pervasive, penetrating ramification. Thanks to this innate tendency to ab-
sorb and spread contamination, Visionnaire can opt for an anti-purist line of expression,
with which to assert its own original stance that prefers addition to subtraction, sound to
silence, presence of color to its absence.
Our preference for the crossing, the graft, the mixture is driven by a vocation for re-
