One doesn’t purchase a billiard table on impulse.
Having made the decision to buy, there are many
aspects to consider.
The billiard table with pockets comes in three standard
sizes and the international version in one. We will
also produce reduced size tables where required. In
this case there is no reason to fear that the resulting
game will be inferior in any way. Even on a reduced
scale, the proportions are identical.
The modular design of our billiard tables means that
they can be transported and assembled absolutely
anywhere – unless the only means of access is a
spiral staircase: in this space it would be impossible
to manipulate the horizontal surfaces!
The available room space should allow the length
of a billiard cue (140cm) on each of the table’s
four sides. The widthly the sides should also be
taken into acount. Thus for examplea table with
a playing area measuring 260 x 130 cm would
require a room space of at least 540 x 410 cm (see
diagran overleaf).
A billiard table can weigh between 800 and 1200 kg
depending on its type and size. This weight is
evenly distributed over the surface area of the table
and thus it poses no problem for attics or other in-
roof areas: simply put, the effect of each table leg is
equal to that of a person. In any event the weight
is what it must be to guarantee the required solidity
and the quality of the game offered.
It may also be useful to consider the possibility
of a removable wooden top which transforms a
billiard table into an elegant dining or working
surface. We offer the conversion option with all
our models and in such cases the top is always
constructed from the same materials as the base
and the two elements are decorated to match each
other exactly.
As well as providing additional flexibility, this
option offers clients the choice not to dedicate
an entire room solely to their billiard table.
Instead they can enjoy the benefits of a beautiful
and versatile piece which performs numerous
functions from a single position in their house.
