The Brió design is built on memories. It looks back to the time when the ingenious masters of the 1960s and
1970s reimagined and set free Italian living rooms. Liberation from stiff traditions went hand in hand with the cultural revolution
that swept through society, including homes.
Twils is harking back to the unstructured forms of the time with a spacious, comfortable sofa for people to use
however they like. Brió combines this with a contemporary, more rational approach that sees the cushions being secured with con-
cealed clips for greater comfort. There are products of two different sizes in the collection, both featuring smooth, winding lines.
The large sofa comes in a choice of contrasting colours and textured, three-dimensional fabrics, for a pop ef-
fect. Alternatively, a more understated, classic colour scheme can be picked, with a single, neutral hue. There is something satisfy-
ing about the way the intentionally ample and rounded seats of the sofa and armchair come up against the solid form of the backrest,
which does not stretch all the way across and encourages unrestricted freedom of use.
