The Tairu side table mixes practical-
ity with natural beauty. The base is
formed from a sturdy, hollow wood-
en rectangle with inset handles so it
can be moved around easily. What
sets the Tairu apart is the top, made
from glazed lava stone from the Ve-
suvius. It is available in four sophisti-
cated shades, each with a very subtle
craquelure finish. The colours are
applied by hand, which makes every
