Birth of Tréca in Reichshoffen, the
only brand to sell spring mattresses
in France. The Tréfilerie câblerie is
created by M. Moritz in Reichshoffen
to manufacture high quality steel
(H.L.E.).
In the midst of the Second World
War, Tréca manufactures mattresses
for the French Army Medical Corps.
General De Gaulle visits the Tréca
factory who supplies the DS (French
luxury car) car seats and calls it a
National Treasure of French know how.
Introduction of Pullman suspension and
birth of the Legendary Tréca Air Spring®
suspension. Tréca patents its integral
tufting. Launch of the revolutionary
Imperial mattresses and adoption of
strategy that all products will always
be handmade to measure.
Launch of the first electrical
adjustable bed base C.A.D. now called
SUPERCAD, and the Omega® spring.
