Sensor with additional
special functions
In addition to the standard functions of a typical
motion sensor and constant light regulator, we have
developed a sensor that off ers the possibility to react
to speci�ic customer and usage requirements. The
additional functions can be simply switched on or off
via the provided remote control.
A long luminaire head for
optimised table lighting
With its forward positioned light component, the
long luminaire head disperses the light far along
the table creating a very even illumination of up to
two work stations. This has the advantage, particu-
larly in the case of stand/sit work stations, that light
also continues to illuminate the work surface whilst
standing - and not only the end of the table.

OSA – patented light technology for
glare-free, relaxed working
The patented OSA technology is based on the
so-called ‘darklight eff ect’ in which the brightness
(luminance) at the luminaire head is perceived as
pleasantly low, despite a high luminous intensity. It
avoids the creation of a disturbing glare from the
luminaire and the accompanying reduction in the
visual performance. The illumination of the room
and work station is of an above-averagely quality as
a result.
Unlike luminaires using prism light technology, the
brightness of our OSA light technology is extremely
low at the luminaire head. The visual comfort is thus
signi�icantly increased, especially in the case of work
at a computer screen, where the light surfaces in the
�ield of vision can quickly create a disturbance for
the user and reduction in visual performance.
OSA is an ergonomically eff ective light technology
which has an especially positive eff ect on the satis-
faction, wellbeing and the performance of the user.

CONNECT – patented
swarm function
CONNECT is an optional, add-on swarm function,
developed and patented by us, which replaces the
need for additional ambient light sources in grouped
o� ice spaces – for example. Following a period of
detected non-movement, the luminaires dim down
to a lower light level, ensuring the required amount
of ambient light for the room. The luminaires only
switch off completely when all inter-communicating
luminaires fail to detect movement.
Not only does CONNECT enable grouped luminaires
to communicate with one another, it can also faci-
litate complex, coordinate-based controlling. Three
axes (x, y, z) are available so that luminaires may also
be interconnected via the z-axes across diff erent
�loors.

Simple sensor configuration
via the remote control
The remote control, provided with each luminaire,
is not crucial for the activation or operation of the
luminaire. It can be used to alter the default settings
as required e.g. to deactivate the motion sensor,
access special functions or set up swarm groups.
Of course, the remote control can also be used to
dim or turn on/off the luminaire, without the use of
the switch.

Switch
The functions of the switch have been kept simple:
on, off and dim. These are the only functions that
are essential for everyday use and are operated
intuitively by the user. Changes to the default
settings are always carried out via the remote
control, thus preventing any unintentional repro-
gramming.

Patented head levelling
The luminaire head can be horizontally aligned by
means of an easily accessible levelling screw. Floor
unevenness can thus be counteracted to ensure that
the head of the luminaire is always horizontal.
