filigran: Der 118 ist ein klassischer Holzstuhl, der an jedem
Esstisch, in jedem Restaurant für subtile Eleganz sorgt.
Das Prinzip, einen Stuhl auf möglichst wenige
Bestandteile zu reduzieren, wurde von Michael Thonet be-
reits Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts eingeführt. Der Stuhl 118
ist eine Weiterentwicklung, welche das Erbe des Unterneh-
mens bedenkt – und noch einen Schritt weiter geht.

The principle of reducing a chair to the fewest
elements possible was introduced by Michael Thonet in the
mid-19th century. Chair 118 is a further development
that considers the company’s heritage and goes one step
further.
