The project started by a question : what If traditional craft like Japanese ‘Kagome’ basketry or ‘Chalorm’ in Thai have to be rethought and developed precisely by technology? what is going to happen? Using exactly the same traditional pattern but produced it in totally different way, each piece of veneer was cut precisely by laser. The result is a strong, elegant collection that can be assembled perfectly without glue.
