Versailles
The parlour was the place of entertainment
and refreshments, where the guests would
taste coffee, wine and liqueurs. After the meal
the King would sit comfortably and show
the silverware vases, porcelains, gems and
medals which were exhibited here to
celebrate his glory and power.
