Ilda Pires
Born in Lisbon in 1959 Ilda is the main designer
of Serip. She is responsible for the creation of
the organic style that defines Serip.
With more than 30 years of experience creat-
ing lighting she tends to brake the rules of
the conventional. She is passionate with the
expression of the design as a sculpture, where
she translates her influences of the different
cultures of the world.
David Garcia
Born in Barcelona in 1978 David belongs to the
technical and project department of Serip. He
has a long experience designing and producing
modern lighting, which creates an interesting
balance between the classic and contemporane-
ous creations of Serip.
David has an amazing sense for compositional
order and he is focused on detail. He is respon-
sible for the integration of the newest lighting
systems in the Serip lighting sculptures.
Miguel Ângelo
Born in Lisbon in 1984 Miguel completed his
studies in IADE where he graduated in In-
dustrial Design. He is in charge of the project
department of Serip and works constantly in the
customization of each Serip lighting.
Miguel mainly takes inspiration from natural
and asymmetrical shapes. His interest for con-
ceptual design allows each Serip installation to
become unique and exclusive.
