Ambient Dimming
The innovative lamps with Ambient Dim-
ming technology are closer than ever to the
model of the incandescent lamp. Thanks to the
unique dim-to-warm method, these LED lamps
change their light colour during the dimming
process. The lower the light intensity, the war-
mer and more pleasant the light – like the
filament of a traditional incandescent lamp.

Das Soft Filament Patent
Das Soft-Filament: Bei dieser technischen Inno-
vation sind die Kühlkörper direkt auf dem Fila-
ment platziert und leiten die Wärme der Dioden
ab. Sie sehen aus wie kleine Flügel an den Seiten
des LED-Filaments. Damit sind wir nicht mehr auf
den Glaskolben und Kühlgase angewiesen. Völ-
lig neue Bauformen und Designs sind auf einen
Schlag möglich.
Ein weiterer positiver Nebeneffekt dieser Tech-
nologie: Durch die bessere und konstantere
Kühlung direkt am Filament ist eine wesentlich
höhere Lumenausbeute möglich.
Das Soft Filament wird natürlich nicht nur im
freien Design eingesetzt, sondern auch innerhalb
der anderen Serien, um die positiven Eigenschaf-
ten zu nutzen. Das Beste daran - wir kommen
der guten alten Glühlampe immer näher, nicht
nur in Bezug auf Lichtfarbe und Leuchtkraft, son-
dern auch optisch!

The Soft Filament Patent
FThe Soft Filament: With this technical innova-
tion, the heat sinks are placed directly on the
filament and dissipate the heat from the diodes.
They look like small wings on the sides of the
LED filament. Thus we are no longer dependent
on the glass bulb and cooling gases. Completely
new styles and designs are possible all at once.
Another positive side effect of this technology: a
much higher lumen yield is possible due to the
better and more constant cooling directly at the
filament.
The Soft Filament is of course not only used in
free design, but also within the other series to
take advantage of the positive properties. The
best thing about it - we are getting closer and
closer to the good old incandescent lamp, not
only in terms of light colour and glow, but also
optically!

Dimmbarkeit
Der Großteil unseres LED-Sortiments ist dimm-
bar. Um sicher zu gehen, dass der Dimmer und
die LED Lampe kompatibel sind, muss die Anga-
ben zur Mindestlast am Dimmer beachtet wer-
den. Für SEGULA Lampen haben wir eine Dim-
merliste mit von uns getesteten Dimmern, die
mit den Leuchtmitteln kompatibel sind.
Dimmability
The majority of our LED range is dimmable. To
ensure that the dimmer and the LED lamp are
compatible, the minimum load specifications
on the dimmer must be observed. For SEGULA
lamps, we have a dimmer list with dimmers tes-
ted by us that are compatible with the lamps.
