Can minimalist be opulent?
It definitely can be for some interiors and clients we have worked with.
Spaces can be minimalistic in terms of architecture but with opulent
features such as high-end lighting and furniture etc. That is one of the
reasons that I have a team of designers with different and diverse styles.
They are able to create both minimalistic and decorative designs.
Does detail need to be intentional?
Detail is an integral part of design. Most of the time the detail is the
element which can’t be replaced. It can be functional, decorative, or both.
If the designersdo not take into account the details in the first phase, then
it is difficult for them to get right in the final design. A nice example is our
collection HEARTS. Without molded metal caps, the glass shapes would
appear unfinished. They also have the function of covering the attachment
with cables and lighting source. It seems like a small detail but the design
doesn’t work without it.
