Is any design truly new?
From my point of view as a designer, I am looking for the unique.
When I develop a design, I do research and if anything on the market
is the same, I avoid it. You always can find something similiar but is it
our job to make it better and more attractive than the others. We take
pride in creating collections that are unique and unexpected, which
was the case with some of our most recent
collections – RAW, GEM, HEARTS.
Is inspiration just imitation?
Not only in art, but in all specializations you can find something similar
to your product if you look hard enough. Personally, inspiration is a way
of learning and evolving ideas. If we look at history, somebody invented
something new and future generation’s then take that idea and transform
it to something new. It is important we don’t forget our past. We’re taught
not to repeat the same mistakes, and it’s the same for design. Why should
I make the same mistake others have made before? I just pick out the
meaningful information and inspiration and apply it to my designs.
Inspiration is a combination of the workable techniques and
technology from each period, together with original thought.
Can hedonism be healthy?
Some philosophers claim that pleasure is the highest, good and proper
aim of human life. In our vision we want that pleasure to last by creating
a luxury offering that delivers long-term value for customers. We focus
on quality and sustainability at every step of the process, so you can
surround yourself with decadent designs without guilt.
