Luxurious-looking side parts on a filigree metal frame, and extremely comfortable back and seat upholstery with decorative stitching and graceful back shells, give this sofa its characteristic, almost weightless appearance. The Rolf Benz TIRA received the German Design Award in 2016. It has an innovative relaxation function which allows the Rolf Benz TIRA to adjust to personalised sitting and relaxing positions. The relax function can be released by means of a beautifully made loop with a wooden handle. If you push the seat forward, the backrest of the sofa turns into additional seating space, increasing the seating depth to approx. 42 cm.
Rolf Benz TIRA is available as an individual sofa or a sofa landscape. The legs are available in two heights and four different finishes (textured silver, painted black, painted umbra grey, or with a high-gloss chrome finish). The individual combination of the materials used on the upholstery, back cushions and back shells (painted Traffic black or Umbra grey or covered in fabric or leather), allows the Rolf Benz TIRA to be completely configured to suit individual wishes. Each of the modular elements has a complete base frame so that they can be used separately if necessary. An individually adjustable function cushion that leans against the back shell can be individually adjusted to give the perfect angle: this makes the Rolf Benz TIRA even more restful, with a really comfortable high back. The Rolf Benz TIRA looks specially stylish with the perfectly matching Rolf Benz 984 side table and the Rolf Benz 985 shelves.

The high-grade materials used are tested in accordance with DIN and RAL directives and subject to long-term testing. The foam materials used in our upholstered furniture are produced free of fluorochlorinated hydrocarbons.
