The table is entirely made of solid wood, with integrated slide-away extension leaf system. The table top and the extensions are 2.5-cm thick. The extension system pulls out on one side of the table and allows the length of the top to be extended for another 100 cm. Upon request the extensions can be 50-cm to 90-cm long. The integrated extension system is easy to pull out thanks to the Teflon wheels positioned under the table legs and the two telescopic aluminium rails running over metal ball-bearings. Opening the extensions is both very simple and highly intuitive, thanks to this practical system that operates using the weight and counterweight of the extension leaves themselves.
