EMPIRE LAMP, DESIGN STUDIO JOB
EMPIRE
This Empire is part of Job Smeet's research on architectural icons.
In this case it's an addition of three different landmarks.
Starting with the Parthenon on the bottom, it grows with the
imposing presence of the Empire State Building and finishes
with the Capitol on the top. Empire is a lamp produced in two
different versions: transparent plastic and translucent metal.
