Jungle fever in a vintage mansion
Brazilian villa
Designing the interior of this loft was like
plunging into the sixties, thanks to its Latin
American setting, a warm and colourful
metropolis and a stunning view from the top
floor of a recently refurbished period building.
I found inspiration in the Brazilian villas
of Oscar Niemeyer and Paulo Mendes da
Rocha, opting for a mass presence of
warm and exotic woods for furniture
and highly contemporary panelling.
I worked with exotically patterned
textiles in bright colours to give the
rooms a glossy, beguiling feel.
