Glossy reflections in green and red
Designing these apartments in an
eastern city skyscraper was the
perfect opportunity to create
contemporary surroundings
but with an Art Deco flavour.
I designed panelling with
a more classical feel, but
playing with 100% gloss finishes
and alternating black with an
elegant gray ebony finish. Each
apartment has a dominant colour
that distinguishes it from the
others, such as Chinese red and
tea-leaf green, which I used in all
the fabrics in a clear reference to the
oriental taste.
