A cozy walk in closet
Le pareti interamente rivestite in legno di questa camera da letto
scaldano l’atmosfera e fanno da contrasto alle ampie vetrate che
si affacciano sul panorama. Gli inserti verticali in specchio portano
la natura all’interno della stanza. Il tema grafico di questo progetto
è quello delle losanghe verticali e dell’alternanza dei materiali.
Il noce canaletto è stato usato sia liscio che stampato con un
motivo tridimensionale. La cabina armadio è totalmente integrata
nelle pareti della camera da letto e quasi non si nota se non per una
piccola nicchia vetrata. Il letto Kingston, completamente imbottito
e con la testata avvolgente in cuoietto aggiunge un elemento di
morbidezza a questo guscio di legno.
The walls entirely covered in wood in this bedroom warm the
atmosphere and contrast with the large windows overlooking the
panorama. Vertical mirrored inserts bring nature into the room. The
graphic theme of this project is that of vertical lozenges and the
alternation of materials. Black walnut was used both smooth and
printed with a three-dimensional pattern. The walk-in closet is totally
integrated into the bedroom walls and is hardly noticeable except
for a small glazed niche. The Kingston bed, fully upholstered and with
the wraparound headboard in leather, adds an element of softness
to this wooden shell.
