The glassmakers are just as important as the material
they craft; and we honour and nurture their prized
skills. The crystal that was being created in the 17th
century needed clever hands to form it into something
delightful. The clarity, brilliance and hardness of
Bohemian crystal was perfected by glassmakers who
were able to sculpt, cut and engrave it.
