The processes used to achieve these types of finishes are
not only meticulous, but require specialised handcrafting
together with modern technologies which incorporate
traditional
methods
and
exceptional
workmanship
resulting in a unique piece.
As well as using plating baths for gilding and silver-plating
brass, the greater part of our finishes are all hand applied
using abrasive pastes to obtain a satin finish, paints for
gold/ silver finishes, dusts and earth for French gold and
gold leaf for rust/gold leaf. Our wide range of products can
be supplied with various types of finishes from traditional
French gold, satin, fine gold, shiny brass to the more
specific finishes that emphasise and highlight the details
of each single article such as a antique bronze, black/green
bronze and rust/gold leaf giving an antique atmosphere to
the piece.
