Cloud Gate is a public sculpture that is the centerpiece of AT&T Plaza at Millennium Park in the Loop community area of Chicago. Designed by the artist Anish Kapoor, the sculpture is inspired by liquid mercury and the sculpture’s surface reflects and distorts the city’s skyline. The Kapoor modern table lamp’s vibrant colors borrow the vibrancy and rhythm of Cloud Gate.
