Kīlauea modern armchair is inspired by the currently active shield volcano in the Hawaiian Islands and the most active of the five volcanoes that together form the island of Hawaii. The form of lava when it is on its way to the ocean is something stunning to see, creating unique landscapes of black beautiful textures. Inspired by the marvelous phenomenon, Porus Studio designed the Kilauea armchair. The structure of the mid-century modern armchair is upholstered in black genuine leather carefully applied to create the lava effect on the backrest.
