A stylish composition of lines and volumes. Palio. Understated yet full of character. Focal point of the living room and social occasions, it now comes with a round table top. A new version of the Palio table has been designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba for Poltrona Frau. The thin, light surface is anchored to three sculpture supports, which are designed to rotate and repeat to create a pleasing visual dynamism. The round surface comes in two variants: very thin extra-clear tempered glass, through which it is possible to see the base’s play on volumes. Or in wood fibre with a birch plywood core and veneer in wengé-stained ash. In the glass version the base anchor plate is in stainless steel. The table supports are made from moulded, rigid polyurethane and stand out due to the original lines of the design. An alternation of light and shade enhanced by the Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System or Saddle Hide cover. The processing of the leather or hide is enriched with elegant and minimalist stitching.
