An armchair for reading, dreaming, meditating. As enveloping and sensual as a song. The bèrgere as interpreted by Roberto Lazzeroni. Sensual and sinuous. Designed, with its high and welcoming back, for relaxation and reading. For thinking and listening to music. Its round and agile forms recall the dynamic and sophisticated designs of Carlo Mollino. Lazzeroni enhances them with the expert use of materials. The combination of leather and hide, as experimented with in the “Ginger” and the “Fred”, makes a return. The internal part of the shell is covered in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, Nest and Soul, while the exterior is in Cuoio Saddle® Extra. A combination further exalted by the elegant visible stitching. The back structure is in moulded polyurethane foam. The springing of the seasoned beech-wood consists of double-cone steel springs that are individually tied and attached to jute webbing. The base is in wengé-stained ash wood. The “Mamy Blue” sits elegantly alongside the “Montera” chair, the “Bolero” table and the “Fiorile” side tables, all by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau.
