The sofa bed is converted into a bed by a single gesture, without removing any cushion, by pulling a handle hidden at the base of seat cushions. The frame, which Functions as the sofa-bed mechanism, is gray-lacquered steel with a sleeping surface of woven metal strips. Elastic belts provide firm seat support while in the sofa position. The back and armrest are made of solid wood with a light polyurethane foam padding. The cushions are made of polyurethane foam and dacron. Feet are available in satin-finished aluminium or in beechwood with a medium walnut finishing (04).
