Bullit is a landscape to be experienced, the sofa as a space of absolute comfort. A system open to countless compositions envisaged as islands of relaxation. The heights of the backrest and armrest are equal, creating a welcoming outside edge. The depth of the seat is a particularly important element. To make each configuration even more eclectic and creative, loose square and rectangular cushions, padded with goose-down and upholstered in leather or fabric, can be added at will.
Jean-Marie Massaud elegantly expresses his language of contrasts between clean volumes and decorativism, between sinuous lines and architectural constructions. The Bullit’s significant volume is lightened thanks to the aluminium supports in a burnished steel finish. With their particular knife-like shape, they sit embedded amongst the padded elements, seeming to cut through them. The aluminium surface is refined with a many-sided design which reflects the light like a crystal.
Bullit, featuring a supporting backrest cushion, is also available in the Bullit Casual version, where the cushions are placed freely against the backrest. The sofa is further enhanced with an open shelf which can either be combined with or used to replace the armrest. The geometric frame of wooden shelves is enhanced with two sculpted pebbles upholstered in Cuoio® Saddle Extra leather. The precision blends perfectly with the decoration. The wood is finished in matte lead oak or matte tobacco oak. The Cuoio® Saddle Extra leather upholstery is also used for the interior.
The backrest and armrest frame, padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, is in beech and seasoned poplar wood. The seat is padded with goose-down and polyester stable with polyurethane foam inserts, and the suspension is provided with elastic straps. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, Nest, Soul or Century, or in removable fabric.
