evocativo di un’epoca di grande libertà
da ogni formalismo e convenzione.
Il progetto di Ludovica +
Roberto Palomba raccoglie e rielabora
anche la matrice, tutta italiana e
antichissima, del triclinio romano, dove
ci si sdraiava, si mangiava,
si conversava, si oziava. Sistema
modulare e aperto alle configurazioni
più confortevoli, Let it Be invita a
una gestualità rilassata. Lo si può
completare a piacere con mensole
e contenitori che ne espandono le
funzioni. È l’accogliente rifugio nel
quale finalmente lasciare fuori casa
ogni pensiero e ritrovare i propri
tempi e ritmi. Un’autentica isola di
benessere attrezzata di tutto ciò che
serve. Informale e invitante anche
nell’estetica leggera. Telaio in trafila
di alluminio con elementi di giunzione
in acciaio verniciati nero. La struttura
di schienale e braccioli, imbottiti in
poliuretano espanso e ovatta poliestere,
è in massello di pioppo e multistrato di
betulla. Molleggio della seduta ottenuto
con cinghie elastiche intrecciate.

The natural evolution of the sofa, Let
it Be’s philosophy is implicit in its
name. A famous song by the Beatles,
it is evocative of a period of newfound
freedom from all types of formalism and
convention. The Ludovica + Roberto
Palomba project also embraces and
reinterprets the time-honoured Italian
concept of the Roman triclinium, where
people lay down, ate, talked and lazed
about. A modular system open to the
most comfortable of configurations,
Let it Be is an invitation to relax. It can
be completed according to taste with
shelves and storage units that expand
its functions. It is a welcoming refuge
where you can finally leave your worries
behind you and rediscover your own
time and rhythms. An authentic island of
wellbeing equipped with everything you
need. It is also informal and inviting in
terms of its light aesthetic. The frame is
in die-cast aluminium with joints in black
painted steel.
The backrest and armrest structure,
padded with polyurethane foam and
polyester wadding, is in solid poplar and
birch plywood.
The seat spring system uses intertwined
elastic belts, while the seat cushion
padded in goose down and polyester
wadding.
The feet are in moulded aluminium with
ruthe nium or blasted and burnished
aluminium finishes.
Let it Be, une évolution naturelle
du canapé, exprime tout de suite sa
philosophie, dès qu’on entend son
nom. Une citation d’un morceau culte
des Beatles, évocateur d’une époque
libératrice de tous les formalismes et
des conventions. Le projet de Ludovica
+ Roberto Palomba recueille et réélabore
également la matrice, entièrement
italienne et antique, du triclinium romain,
où l’on s’allongeait, on mangeait, on
parlait, on se relaxait.
Let it Be, un système modulaire et
ouvert aux configurations les plus
confortables, invite à des attitudes
détendues. Il est possible, à son gré,
de le compléter par des étagères et
des meubles de rangement, élargissant
ainsi ses fonctions. C’est le refuge
accueillant où l’on abandonne enfin tous
les soucis et l’on retrouve ses propres
temps et rythmes. Un îlot authentique de
bien-être, équipé de tout le nécessaire.
Décontracté et accueillant de par son
esthétique légère.
Châssis en aluminium étiré, avec des
éléments de jonction en acier peint en
noir. La structure du dossier et des
accoudoirs, rembourrés en mousse de
polyuréthane et ouate de polyester, est
en peuplier massif et bouleau multiplis.
La suspension de l’assise est obtenue
par des sangles élastiques tressées
entre elles. Le coussin de siège est
rembourré de duvet d’oie et d’ouate
de polyester. Les pieds en aluminium
sont moulés, avec finition ruthénium ou
grenaillé bruni.

erinnert es an eine Zeit, die von
jeglichen Formalismen und Konventionen
frei war. Das Design von Ludovica +
Roberto Palomba umfasst und belebt
auch die zutiefst italienische und uralte
Matrix des römischen Triclinium, wo
man sich niederlegte, aß, Konversation
pflegte und sich der Muße hingab.
Als modulares System und offen für die
komfortabelsten Konfigurationen lädt
Let it Be zu entspannten Gesten ein.
Es lässt sich nach Belieben mit Regalen
und Schränken kombinieren, die die
Funktionen erweitern.

Gestell aus gezogenem Aluminium mit
Verbindungselementen aus schwarz
lackiertem Stahl.
Die Struktur von Rücken- und Armlehnen
mit Polsterung aus Polyurethanschaum
und Polyesterwatte ist aus massivem
Pappelholz und Multischicht-Birkenholz.
Die Federung der Sitzfläche wird
mit elastischen Gurten erzielt. Mit
Gänsefedern und Polyesterwatte
gepolstertes Sitzkissen. Fuße aus
gegosse nem Aluminium mit Zwei Finishs:
Ruthenium oder brünierter polierter
Aluminium.
