エミリオ・アンバース
エミリオ・アンバースは 1943 年アルゼンチンに生
まれる。プリンストン大学で建築学修士号を取得。建
築におけるパイオニア的活動は有名で、自然と建築
の融合を図る。 1989 年にニューヨーク近代美術館
で建築作品をテーマにした展覧会が開催され、ミラ
ノのトリエンナーレではインダストリアル・デザイン
の作品も展示された。 Ambasz アンバースはインダ
ストリアル・デザインや機械設計の分野で数多くの
特許を所有。 1981 年に Compasso
d’Oro コンパッソ・ドーロ賞を受賞。

Brief は背部、座部、肘掛を使用者の
体型や姿勢に合わせて様々に調節で
きる画期的な製品。
EMILIO AMBASZ
Nato in Argentina nel 1943, ha studiato
alla Princeton University dove ha consegui-
to il Master in Architettura. Famoso per il
suo pionierismo architettonico teso all’in-
tegrazione della natura con l’architettura,
è stato soggetto di un’esposizione archi-
tettonica al Museo di Arte Moderna di New
York nel 1989 ed alla Triennale di Milano,
dove ha anche esposto i suoi disegni
industriali. In possesso di numerosi
brevetti industriali e meccanici, ha ri-
cevuto il premio Compasso d’Oro nel
1981.
CONCEPT
Brief si distingue per la possibilità che
schienale, sedile e braccioli offrono di
adattarsi alle diverse misure antropo-
metriche assecondando le svariate po-
sture di ogni singolo utilizzatore.
EMILIO AMBASZ
Born in 1943 in Argentina, has a Master’s
Degree in Architecture from Princeton Uni-
versity. Renowned for his pioneering archi-
tecture integrating nature with architecture,
he was the subject of an architectural exhi-
bition at The Museum of Modern Art in New
York in 1989, and at the Triennale di Milano,
which also included his industrial designs. Mr.
Ambasz holds a number of industrial and me-
chanical design patents. He was awarded the
Compasso d’Oro prize in 1981.
CONCEPT
Brief is an innovative product with an anato-
mically-designed seat, backrest and armrests.
Through a unique, synchronized adjustment
system, it adapts to suit the size and height
of each user, easily supporting the many diffe-
rent variations in posture.
