CONCEPT
Roberto Lazzeroni conçoit, comme par jeu,
le meuble bar Babel. Un objet petit, nomade
et luxueux. Equipé de quatre roulettes pivo-
tantes, Babel est facile à déplacer d’un espace
à l’autre, en créant, là où l’on désire, un coin
élégant de détente et de partage. Compact
et fonctionnel, ce meuble bar est structuré
comme une mini tour à plusieurs
niveaux. La tablette de base est
pourvue d’un casier range-bou-
teilles. Une des ailes latérales
est structurée pour recevoir les
verres, l’autre aile est une boîte
porte-accessoires. Le design est
précis, les matières sont recher-
chées. Poltrona Frau consacre
beaucoup de soin aux moindres
détails et fi nitions. L’extérieur
de Babel est complètement revê-
tu de cuir Cuoio Saddle® Extra,
avec les profi lages en cuir Pelle
Frau® du Color System. Les par-
ties internes sont en Alcantara®
rouge, avec des détails en ébène.
Les cloisons entre les diff érents
casiers sont en tubes d’acier
chromé, tandis que le fond exté-
rieur est fi ni à la peinture noire
anti-rayures. Un mécanisme en
acier permet de faire tourner les
deux casiers supérieurs, tous
deux munis d’une poignée en
cuir Cuoio Saddle® Extra, pour
accéder au casier inférieur.
CONCEPT
Roberto Lazzeroni disegna come per gioco il
mobile bar Babel. Un oggetto piccolo, nomade
e lussuoso. Dotato di quattro ruote piroet-
tanti, Babel si sposta facilmente da uno spa-
zio all’altro creando, dove si preferisce, un
angolo di elegante socialità e relax. Compatto
e funzionale, il mobile bar si struttura come
una mini torre a più piani. Il piano di
base è completo di divisorio portabot-
tiglie. Una delle ali laterali è struttu-
rata per accogliere i bicchieri, l’altra è
una scatola porta accessori. Il design
è pulito, i materiali ricercati. Poltro-
na Frau dedica grande cura ai minimi
particolari e alle lavorazioni. L’esterno
di Babel è rivestito completamente in
Cuoio Saddle® Extra con profi lature in
Pelle Frau® del Color System. Interni
in Alcantara® rossa con dettagli in le-
gno di ebano. I divisori dei contenitori
sono in tubolare di acciaio cromato,
mentre il fondo esterno è rifi nito con
vernice nera antigraffi o.Un meccani-
smo in acciaio permette la rotazione
dei due contenitori superiori, entrambi
corredati di maniglia in Cuoio Saddle®
Extra, per accedere a quello inferiore.
CONCEPT
Roberto Lazzeroni has designed the playful
Babel drinks cabinet. A small, nomadic and
luxurious item. Equipped with four castors,
Babel is easy to move from one area to anoth-
er to create an elegantly sociable and relax-
ing corner wherever you wish. Compact and
functional, the mobile bar is structured like a
mini-tower with multiple levels. The base level
includes a bottle holder. One of the lateral
wings is designed to hold glasses, while the
other is a container for holding accessories.
The design is clean, the materials refi ned.
Poltrona Frau focuses close attention on
the smallest of details and on the process-
ing. The exterior of the Babel is completely
covered in Cuoio Saddle® Extra leather with
trim in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color Sys-
tem. The internal parts are in red Alcantara®
with ebony wood details. The dividers in the
containers are made from chromium-plated
tubular steel while the exterior of the bottom
is fi nished with a coating of black scratch-
proof paint. The two containers at the top are
both equipped with a handle in Cuoio Saddle®
Extra leather, and a steel mechanism allows
you to rotate these containers so you can ac-
cess the one below.
KONCEPT
Roberto Lazzeroni kreiert das Barmöbel Babel
fast spielerisch anmutend. Ein kleines, noma-
denhaftes und luxuriöses Objekt. Mit seinen
vier Drehrädern lässt sich Babel wunderbar
einfach transportieren. Man kann es nach
Belieben immer wieder neu kombinieren und
somit im Handumdrehen eine elegante, kom-
munikative und entspannende Ecke kreieren.
Kompakt und funktionell, präsentiert sich
das Barmöbel wie ein kleiner Turm mit meh-
reren Etagen. Die unterste Etage besitzt ein
Trennelement mit Flaschengestell. Einer der
Seitenfl ügel ist mit einer Gläserhalterung,
der andere mit einer Ablagebox ausgestattet.
Das Design ist schlicht, die Materialien edel.
Poltrona Frau legt größtes Augenmerk auf
kleinste Details und auf eine sorgfältige Ver-
arbeitung. Außen ist Babel komplett mit Cuoio
Saddle® Extra-Leder mit Besatz aus Pelle
Frau®-Leder aus dem Color System bezogen.
Interieur aus rotem Alcantara® mit Details
aus Ebenholz. Die Trennelemente der Behälter
sind aus röhrenförmigem, verchromtem Stahl,
die Bodenaußenseite weist eine schwarze
Kratzschutzlackierung auf. Ein Stahlmecha-
nismus erlaubt die Drehung der zwei oberen
Behälter, beide jeweils mit einem Griff aus
Cuoio Saddle® Extra-Leder, um zum unteren
Behälter zu gelangen.
