La bellezza contemporanea del
metacrilato in un piccolo ed elegante set
di scatole cilindriche. Il fondo è ottenuto
dal materiale solido colorato in blocco,
che viene scavato a controllo numerico
e lucidato a mano. Completamente pieno
anche il coperchio, realizzato per tre
quarti in metacrilato trasparente e per
un quarto in metacrilato dello stesso
colore della parte inferiore: si crea così
un suggestivo design a mezzaluna, con
eff etti ottici sfumati e cangianti quando
la scatola ruota su se stessa. Due le
tonalità: verde smeraldo scuro per la
scatola alta e blu notte per la scatola
piccola e quella bassa. Sul fondo della
base è inciso il marchio Poltrona Frau
tramite tecnologia laser.
The contemporary beauty of
methacrylate in a small and elegant
collection of cylindrical boxes. The
base of each box is in solid, block-
coloured methacrylate, which is crafted
using numerically controlled machinery
and polished by hand. The lid is also
marked by solidity; three-quarters of
each lid is in transparent methacrylate
and while the fi nal quarter is in the
same colour as the base, creating an
evocative half-moon design enhanced by
shimmering tonal eff ects when the box
revolves around itself. The collection
features two shades: emerald green for
the tall box and midnight blue for the
smaller, lower box. The Poltrona Frau
brand is carved on the base using laser
technology.
La beauté contemporaine du
méthacrylate dans un set, petit et
élégant, de boîtes cylindriques. Le fond
est fait d’un matériau solide coloré dans
la masse, qui est fraisé par commande
numérique et poli à la main. Le couvercle
est lui aussi complètement plein, fait
de méthacrylate transparent pour
les trois quarts et, pour un quart, de
méthacrylate de la même couleur que
la partie inférieure: un beau dessin
en croissant de lune est ainsi obtenu,
avec des eff ets optiques estompés
et chatoyants lorsque la boîte tourne
sur elle-même. Deux tonalités: vert
émeraude foncé pour la boîte haute, et
bleu nuit pour la petite boîte et la boîte
basse. La marque Poltrona Frau est
gravée au laser sur le fond de la base.

Set aus zylinderförmigen Schachteln.
Der Boden besteht aus Vollmaterial, das
im Block gefärbt und mit Maschinen mit
numerischer Steuerung ausgehöhlt wird.
Aus Vollmaterial ist auch der Deckel,
der zu drei Viertel aus transparentem
Methacrylat und zu einem Viertel aus
Methycrylat in der gleichen Farbe wie
die Unterseite gemacht ist: Auf diese
Weise entsteht ein faszinierendes
Halbmond-Muster mit verfl iegenden
und schillernden optischen Eff ekten,
wenn sich die Schachtel um sich selbst
dreht. In zwei Farbtönen: dunkles
Smaragdgrün für die hohe Schachtel und
Nachtblau für die kleine und die niedrige
Schachtel. Unten auf der Basis ist die
Marke Poltrona Frau per Lasertechnik
eingeprägt.
