Il design di Aida, morbido e garbato,
evoca la corolla di un fi ore. I braccioli
della poltrona si schiudono e si curvano
verso l’esterno come petali. La poltrona
unisce tecniche costruttive storiche
a accorgimenti e materiali attuali.
Come nei classici pezzi dell’archivio
di Poltrona Frau, il molleggio della
seduta, realizzata in faggio stagionato,
è ottenuto con molle biconiche in acciaio
legate a mano e appoggiate su cinghie
di juta. La scocca dello schienale
e l’imbottitura del sedile, secondo
le tecnologie più avanzate, sono in
poliuretano espanso e vengono ottenuti
da stampo. Il rivestimento è impreziosito
da un fi letto perimetrale in pelle
o gros-grain. Accanto alla versione
in Pelle Frau® per l’esterno e tessuto
per l’interno, la poltrona può essere
anche rivestita totalmente in Pelle
Frau®. Aida è disponibile in versione
fi ssa o girevole.
Aida, with its soft and graceful design,
evokes the corolla of a fl ower. The arms
open and curve outwards like petals.
The armchair blends traditional
production techniques with up-to-date
materials and eff ects. Like traditional
Poltrona Frau pieces, the seat, made
in seasoned beech wood, is sprung
with hand-tied steel biconical springs
fastened to jute belts. The frame of the
back and the padding of the seat,
in line with the very latest technology,
are in moulded polyurethane foam.
The upholstery is embellished with
a leather or gros-grain border piping.
Alongside the version in Pelle Frau®
leather on the outside and fabric on the
inside, the armchair can be completely
upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. Aida
is available in a fi xed or swivel version.
Le design d’Aida, doux et gracieux,
évoque la corolle d’une fl eur.
Les accoudoirs du fauteuil s’ouvrent
et se courbent vers l’extérieur comme
des pétales. Le fauteuil allie aux
techniques de fabrication traditionnelles
des matériaux et des eff ets actuels.
Comme pour les fauteuils classiques des
archives de Poltrona Frau, la suspension
de l’assise en hêtre sec est obtenue
par des ressorts biconiques en acier
attachés à la main et fi xés sur des
sangles en jute. La coque du dossier
et le rembourrage de l’assise, selon les
technologies les plus avancées, sont en
mousse de polyuréthane et sont obtenus
par moulage. Le revêtement est embelli
par un passepoil périmétral en cuir ou
en gros grain. En plus de la version en
cuir Pelle Frau® à l’extérieur et tissu
à l’intérieur, ce fauteuil peut aussi
être complètement revêtu de cuir Pelle
Frau®. Aida est disponible en version
fi xe ou pivotante.

Blume. Die Arme öff nen und biegen
sich nach außen wie Blütenblätter.
Der Sessel verbindet traditionelle
Produktionstechniken mit modernen
Materialien und Eff ekten. Wie bei den
klassischen Poltrona Frau Möbeln
erfolgt die Federung der Sitzfl äche
aus abgelagertem Buchenholz durch
von Hand gebundene, doppelkonische
Stahlfedern, die auf Jutegurten
aufl iegen. Der Aufbau der Rückseite
und die Polsterung des Sitzes
entsprechen dem neuesten Stand der
Technik und sind aus gegossenem
Polyurethanschaum gefertigt. Der Bezug
ist mit einer Leder- oder Grosgrain-
Bordüre verziert. Neben der Version
mit Pelle Frau®-Leder auf der
Außenseite und Stoff auf der Innenseite
kann der Sessel auch vollständig mit
Pelle Frau®-Leder bezogen sein.
Aida ist in einer festen oder drehbaren
Version verfügbar.
