Poltrona Frau
The facility includes a digital library, an auditorium,
dining spaces, media resource centres, outdoor
common spaces, and separate areas where students
can stimulate teamwork or find their private study
environment.
Poltrona Frau provided 206 Corum seats, a
sophisticated solution designed by Poltrona Frau
R.&D. Corum chair is made of a solid steel frame,
padded fire-resistant polyurethane foam, and a
spring system consisting of woven elastic belts. The
silent counterweight system ensures the automatic
retraction of the seat. The armchair sits on a steel
base that is fixed to the floor and finished with epoxy
powder paint.
For this project Stantec required a Trevi upholstery
in three different colours, wood armrests with power
and USB integration.
