The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
of Los Angeles, the movie capital of the world,
is the first institution dedicated to the arts
and science of motion pictures. Designed
by the world-famous architect Renzo Piano,
the museum comprises of two buildings, the
historical May Company building and the new
glass and concrete Sphere Building. 30.000
square meters dedicated to permanent and
temporary exhibitions, educational spaces,
events locations, and of course the amazing
state-of-the-art David Geffen Theatre and
Dolby Family Terrace, an open-air promenade
facing over the city, Hollywood Hills and the
iconic Hollywood Sign.
